You don’t have to hold it all alone.

Motherhood can be beautiful, exhausting, overstimulating, isolating, and identity-shifting—all at the same time. For many moms, it can feel like a silent pressure of trying to hold it all together.

That’s why I offer compassionate, somatic-based therapy for mothers navigating postpartum depression, anxiety, burnout, sensory overload, and other major life transitions.

Therapy can help support your unique nervous system so that you can hold more space for your child when they need you most.

I work with moms who are...

About Creative Path Counseling

Career Counseling + Therapeutic Support

I’m Jillian! As a mother myself, I understand the mental load and demands of being a parent while trying to manage all the other areas of life.

My creative approach to therapy combines nervous system support, trauma-informed care, and practical emotional tools to help mothers feel safer in both their bodies and daily lives.

Therapeutic support may include:

  • Working through intrusive thoughts without shame

  • Sensory management strategies for overstimulation

  • Nervous system regulation and grounding tools

  • Rebuilding identity outside of caregiving roles

  • Communication and boundary-setting support

  • Planning for sustainable routines and self-care

  • Processing birth trauma or difficult parenting experiences

  • Managing postpartum depression, anxiety, or hypervigilance

  • Reducing reactive parenting patterns and emotional burnout

Phase 1: Reclaim Awareness

  • Identify sensory and emotional stressors contributing to overstimulation

  • Reframe shutdown, irritability, or “mom rage” through a nervous system lens

  • Understand patterns of burnout, chronic stress, and emotional depletion

  • Challenging deep-seated cognitions like "I am a bad mom," or "I am doing this wrong,"

  • DBT Skill Building: Developing tools to manage "scary" thoughts, blame, and the challenges of postpartum depression or loss of purpose.

Therapeutic Framework to Support Neurodiversity

Motherhood can completely transform your nervous system, identity, relationships, and sense of self. This framework is designed to help mothers move from survival mode into greater regulation, self-trust, and connection with themselves and their families.
